6 Week Golf Lesson Review.

Just any kind of instruction recommendation won’t do when it comes to beginning golfers. There is no surer way of having a beginning golfer quit the game than to subject them to constant failure and frustration.

A lady or youngster who gives up the game at this juncture is unlikely to ever return to it.

Beginners are often overwhelmed by the bewildering number of techniques and positions they must learn.

What further muddles matters is the neverending stream of “tips” which drown the student.

The biggest trap for the beginner is trying to learn from myriad teaching sources when those sources may teach the skill in a different and contradictory fashion.

We have to understand how most beginners start out.The first step in the journey for most beginners does not take place by signing up for lessons from a celebrity instructor.New players don’t have the patience to spend a year or better until they achieve some level of competence.Since beginners have a life outside of golf, it is really difficult to set aside the time a modern golf swing requires.

What faces the new golfer?.Let’s look at the usual learning curve of the beginner. The initial “learning centre” is usually the local practice range accompanied by a spouse, parent or friend. The dominant emotion of the new learner is predictably fear (think here of getting up in grade two and reading aloud). A few full blown misses can quickly morph this fear into runaway panic. The autonomic system is now on full overload with the control panel flashing out the message  “God save me from looking like a real dork here!”

The most common move for a beginner is to lift the club and tomahawk down on the ball.An experience which is largely one of embarassment seldom gains new golfers to the fold.

There’s likely unanimity on this point. The sooner the golfer develops a swing on a predictable arc, the the better will be the outcome. The golfer will be transformed into a player who makes solid, repeatable contact and hits with power.Any new player must get a measure of achievement for his or her efforts.

Let’s now turn our attention to the subject of this review.6WGS has banished the single most common barrier to learning golf. That problem is … the ball.

No standing out in public embarrassing yourself, 6WGS is learned at home without stress or failure.Lessons are limited to 5-10 minutes/day.6WGS eliminates the fear of failure and has you swinging in a few short weeks.

Can I really become a golfer?Friends and fathers have been amazed by the remarkable transformation their sons, daughters and friends have made.

The reason I am strongly recommending this system is because of the people behind it.You’ll be in the capable hands of the man who taught Rory McIlroy to play (Rory won this year’s Dubai Desert Classic at age 19).

I give this system 4 1/2 stars.
